Full course description
Staff play a vital role in ensuring students receive pastoral care as well as academic support. This course is part of of our Te Herenga Waka framework to support students during their study with us.
This course will take 45 - 60 minutes to complete.
This course is open to all Te Herenga Waka staff, including permanent, fixed term and casual staff. The course is highly recommended for academic and professional kaimahi/staff who have roles where they interact with students including teaching, supervision, advising, and supporting roles. It is especially useful for staff who are new to the university or new to a student facing role.
