Full course description
All students at Victoria University of Wellington are entitled to study, socialise, and work in an environment of safety and respect. This course was created to show that we are all responsible for creating a safe and inclusive community and thanks for doing your part.
This course covers respectful relationships and sexual harm. Some of the material can be confronting or distressing, especially if you have been impacted by sexual harm. As a result, you may not feel comfortable completing this course, and that is okay. If you need support or have concerns about your own behaviour you can speak with a trained counsellor 24/7 by contacting Safe To Talk
This online course contains a mix of written content, diagrams and videos with short quizzes to check your understanding. The whole course (all page reading, watching videos and taking quizzes) should take about 1 hour and 45 minutes. The course does not need to be done all in one go. However, it is required to do review the course content in order. Your progress can be seen on the Modules page.
